“ Hard to believe a restaurant this GOOD can be at a gas station! This place is really good and the prices are very reasonable which is getting harder and harder to find. I got the quesabirria which was amazing! The dipping sauce was so good! They have huge breakfast burritos, burgers, and many other choices. Try the Chorizo breakfast burrito. ”

“ Amazing hole in the wall spot at a gas station. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat after work and ended up having one of the Best Mexican Burgers I've probably ever had. Arizona dreaming I think it was called? Delicious, juicy, cooked perfect. The Sonoran Dogs were great to. Had got some chicken tacos to go, ended up eating them about 30min aftet i left. had good flavor but the meat was super dry. I'll definitely be back if I'm in this area of Tucson again. ”

“ It's hot and we didn't feel like trying to cook indoors, and it's too hot to babysit the grill. I was looking for restaurants in my area and found this. I remembered seeing people recommend it in local groups, so I looked at the menu and we decide to give it a try. When we pulled up, it was a gas station, and I was uneasy. But when we got inside the guy behind the counter was super friendly, so we ordered. The food was good! I got a caramelo, my husband got a Sonoran dog and a birria taco, and we split an order of fries and chips and salsa. The salsa was great, it reminds me of my favorite place back in CO. The fries really surprised us- they look to be cut in-house, and while they weren't crisp like fast food fries, they tasted great. The guy behind the bar even answered a weird question about one of the items on the menu (huevos divorciados), even though we were done ordering, and was friendly about it. We liked the salsa so much we got a pint to bring home. While it is in a gas station, this is a pretty good place for a decent meal if you're riding that struggle bus for lunch. ”

First I'll admit that I didn't have really high hopes for delivery Mexican food but I was very surprised by the freshness and presentation of the food that was delivered even if my pictures don't do it any justice. We've been wanting to try Papa Locos Tacos and Burgers but just haven't done it until now. We will absolutely be stopping in and trying more of their food again. We ordered the shrimp tacos (excellent and possibly the best we've ever had), a fish burrito (again, possibly the best we've ever had), taquitos (the best we've ever had), and a quesadilla. We ordered a shredded beef quesadilla but I think they forgot to put the beef in there. That was okay because everything else was excellent. I don't really like to order Mexican food for delivery because things get soggy quickly but their product happily did not do that. I definitely recommend this food and will be trying more of it in the future. ”

“ Do not let the gas station / liquor store facade fool you. This is the BEST hidden gem for Mexican food in the Tucson area hands down. Was in the area visiting family from Philadelphia. Not only did we eat there several times during our stay, but also planning to grab several Enchi Locos on our way to the airport before we head out of town. Do yourself a favor and be sure to visit Carla and the team if you’re in town. You’ll thank me later! ”
